While staying on an older version of an app is recommended for too long, however, as of now, this is our best and more importantly, only bet to stay away from that messy UI. ![]() You will now be taken to the older version of the app and it would stay on that version until you manually update it from Play Store. Until the app developer has fixed the problem, try using an older version of the app. Now tap on the overflow icon situated at the top right and uncheck Enable auto-update.Once the app has been uninstalled, download the older version from here.After that, tap on Uninstall > OK in the confirmation prompt. ![]() Then scroll to the bottom and note down its current version number.Head over to Settings > Apps > See All Apps and select Spotify.In order to rectify this issue, you will have to downgrade the app to the older version and then disable its automatic updates settings. ![]()
